Polypropylene (PP) needle felt in addition to some advantages of conventional needler felt, compared with polyester fiber, polypropylene has more excellent resistance to acid and alkali and low softening point, the polypropylene needle felt is generally used in the flue gas temperature is below 100 DEG C and acid, acid, alkalinity occasions or higher than the liquid solid separation field.
Briefly Introduction:
The Polypropylene needle felt is kinds of common bag filters accessories. The raw material that we use to produce Felt filtration media is 100% polypropylene fiber. Through the needle punching process, we can freely change the fiber density and weight per square meter of the needled felt to make filter cloths with different filtration accuracy.
The finish treatment of PP felt is different from PE material, it’s one-side glazed to prevent the fibers being scoured away by high-speed flowing liquid, thereby avoid the pollution of the filtrate by dropped fiber. Compared with PE needle felt filter media, the acid resistance of polypropylene needle felt Media is slightly worse, but the alkali resistance is much stronger. Therefore, PP non-woven filter fabric is also widely used in water treatment and other chemical industries.
